How One Rent removed deposits across its Dubai luxury fleet.

One Rent is one of Dubai's leading luxury and supercar rental marketplaces, connecting visitors and residents with premium vehicles from Mercedes-AMG and BMW to Lamborghini, Ferrari and Rolls-Royce. With nightly rates running into the thousands of dirhams, traditional security deposits often blocked tens of thousands on a guest's credit card for the duration of the rental, and sometimes far beyond.

To remove that friction without exposing its supply partners to extra risk, One Rent partnered with Leniqo to roll out a fully deposit-free option across its fleet. Eligible guests now pay a small protection fee at checkout instead of a large refundable hold. Leniqo handles the underwriting, the trust checks and the recovery process end-to-end, so the rental company keeps the same level of protection it had before, with none of the operational overhead.

Since launching deposit-free, One Rent has seen smoother counter handovers, fewer abandoned bookings from international guests whose cards could not absorb the hold, and a meaningful reduction in deposit-related support tickets. Damage cases that do occur are now resolved by Leniqo's recovery team directly with the renter, instead of dragging the partner into long disputes over a captured hold.
